In March 2022, Zhao Wang joined ReLive Biotechnologies as Senior Quality Manager. In 2023, Zhao was appointed Director of CMC, China.



With 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Zhao has profound knowledge in the production and quality management of GMP certified products. He is particularly skilled and experienced in technology transfers, process development and production management in GMP certified facilities. Previously, Zhao worked as a Manufacturing Scientist at SOTIO Biotech (Beijing) joining the company in 2014, where he was responsible for introducing cell-based therapy production processes in China as well as leading a technology transfer project. Moreover, he took over the role of Quality Manager. In 2019, he joined Sanofi (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as a Scientist to establish a new laboratory and to support a new drug registration process by solving technical problems during registration.

Zhao holds a Master of Science in biochemistry and bioinformatics from George Washington University, US.
